Hey there! Welcome to my photoblog. My name is Aashni, and this is my photoblog.

I have always had a passion for taking pictures, even if the larger majority of those pictures aren’t good. Photography is a form of art, a way to capture a moment and make it live forever. Anything can be art, from a single flower in a field, to the abstract patterns of the northern lights in the sky, the real trick is to capture it in a way that no one else has captured it before.

I like experimenting with my camera, taking pictures at strange angles of an object and capturing things that aren’t always seen by other people. I particularly like taking detail pictures, where you zoom in and capture a minute detail hidden in a large canvas of activity. I’ve also had a lot of time to take animal and wildlife photography as well.

I used to have a photoblog on my main blog site, one where I would try to update every single day with a different photo, however I quickly found that I couldn’t keep up with updating it every single day, and eventually grew tired of trying to update it completely. I would then let my photoblog die, and after a few weeks, feel the urge to start it up again. This cycle has continued quite a number of times. For this reason, I’ve decided not to update this photoblog on a daily basis, rather to update it whenever I can. Hopefully this freedom will let me keep this site open for more than just a few weeks.

Despite all the fancy schmancy talk above, I still have a lot I need to learn about photography. I would truly love and appreciate any feedback you can give me, whether it’s about the angle I took a picture, the type of contrast, or maybe even suggesting a subject that I should try and capture, so please do comment on my pictures and give me some feedback! And you never know, your advice might help someone else as well.
